I remember at a job interview being asked if I'd ever smoked cannabis.... I told them.. 'yes, when I was younger, but not now'.. (I was 16). Ripping my leg off and kicking me up the arse with it would have done me much favour in retrospect! Yes.. Cheech and Chong were rubbish then and still are but they will appeal to those wee oily ticks who believe they are the first generation to smoke drugs.. and that's where the cash lies.. If he's anything like the movies, you're absolutely right- throw me the bullets.... for either him or me, but both of us ain't hangin' around at the same time. During one part of his act- the part in which he used a breathlessly unwilling female volunteer- he got down on all fours and humped her legs, pawed at her sickened frame, and pretended to pee on her. It was... dreadfully unfunny. His wife, Tree, was there... the Vanna White of Z-list washouts. Chong's golden act = Joke about Hollywood... (the one back in the 70s) and pander to the overzealous potheads in the crowd with, "Can you believe this stuff is illegal?" and/or "So... I always like to roll a bunch of weed before a road trip.
