I’ve been invited to participate in a Q&A session at the Soundedit 10 Festival, the International Festival of Music Producers and Sound Designers, in Lodz, Poland on September 11th, 2010. The preceding day I’ve been asked to contribute to a music production workshop held by Mikael ‘Count’ Eldridge, with whom I have previously worked with in his studio in San Francisco.
OK, so I recently teamed up with Eraldo Bernocci and Harold Budd and both performed and recorded with them in Tuscany. Hopefully this will lead to an album release in 2011 on Rare Noise Records.
I’ve also written score for the new Gregg Araki motion picture Kaboom! and attended Le Festival de Cannes where the movie was an official selection.
And all of a sudden, after being swallowed into a Hollywood type world I got back into my comfort zone by traveling to Bordeaux where I’ve recorded a new album with Harold Budd to follow up our twin albums After The Night Falls and Before The Day Breaks.
And happily, after 5759 km passed with the aforementioned gentlemen, I’ve returned to Bretagne where Annie Barker continues her work in my new vocal room with her extraordinary voice. The album in the making will be splendid …….
