OK, it’s been a while, and I should have mentioned it earlier, but I produced F.L.A.R.E.S by Boreal Wood a while back and it has since been released on Toolong Records with more info here.

  • Of course you could be all modern, try to identify with the generation of people that are slowly bringing you around to feeling OK  to treat movies and music as ephemeral, with little longevity, encouraging you to stream, download or just simply, use, but in the US you have a chance to see a wonderfully crafted indie film with sound production values, a significant cast, masterful directorship and, um, a rather lovely soundtrack on the big screen in a theater near you, for at least you lucky inhabitants of a country where salty popcorn isn’t illegal.
So go, don’t be fucking complacent, open your mind, enjoy the story, the filmcraft, support indie cinema, thank yourself daily that, really, people are not bombing you and fucking up your shit, and you don’t have to forage for food, and perhaps, you could even buy the album, as foraging is getting a little tiring at my age.
But seriously, it’s a lovely melange, indie cinema, uncompromising directorship, inspiring actors …. great movie. I’m very proud to be involved, thanks Gregg…
