Post Cocteau Twins I had a little break from making music to concentrate mostly on production. I wasn't really sure where I wanted to go with playing music. Then at some point, I can't quite remember when, someone asked me to play a short instrumental set at the Union Chapel in London, which I played, rather nervously improvising some pieces with a looper and loads of effects.... ew, when I think back it was rather naive. But it did put the germ of an idea into my head about where to go with making music. I wanted to make beautiful music that I felt instead of thought about.
